Software startups can now rent space in a vendor’s data centre (cloud) and design applications. Having a hosted platform eliminates the need to purchase their own IT infrastructure. This new business model is a shift in how companies manage orders, increase customer adoption and deliver the product, all with a monthly or an annual contract.
